Pre-college Physicals

Summer is approaching, and for some of our younger patients that means high school graduation. Before you send your students off to college, make sure they come in for their pre-college physicals. It is important they receive any necessary vaccinations, such as Menactra to protect against Meningococcal Meningitis.

Remember that Lisa Larkin, MD, & Associates sees patients age 16 and older, so if you are trying to transition your child from a pediatric practice please call our office to schedule an introductory appointment.

Better Health Blog

After a comprehensive review of more than 500 studies conducted in the past 30 years, the American Heart Association has published new guidelines regarding optimal triglyceride levels.

In the latest Better Health Blog, Dr. Lisa Larkin discusses the new guidelines and what patients can do to improve their triglyceride levels for better heart health.

The post also includes detailed dietary recommendations for individuals, based on if their triglyceride levels are considered borderline, high or very high.

Anthem Insurance Information

Patients with Anthem Insurance: Please know that we value our relationship with you and appreciate your choosing our practice as your "medical home" as out-of-network providers. We again have opted not to contract with Anthem Insurance for the coming practice plan year.

However, you can continue to see our physicians as you always have and pay the out-of-network provider fee for office visits only (labs, hospitalization, etc., are still reimbursed at the in-network rates.) See an explanation of how our out-of-network fees might work. Again, we appreciate your trusting us with your health and are committed to providing high-quality, evidence- care throughout your life.

Thank you again for the opportunity to participate in your healthcare. We hope you will take advantage of the many resources available to you, and we look forward to serving you.

As always, we place great value on open communication with you. If you ever have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us at 513.271.5111 or
