Welcome Susan Stegman, MD

We're pleased to announce the addition of our eighth provider, internist Susan Stegman, MD, who will begin seeing patients in January.

Since 1996, Dr. Stegman has been practicing internal medicine in Greater Cincinnati, while also serving as an independent medical examiner and as assistant medical director and physician consultant to several insurance companies.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Stegman earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital, serving as chief resident in her final year. She became board certified in 1994 and re-certified in 2004.

Dr. Stegman and her husband, Scott, live in Pleasant Ridge with their three children.

Dr. Stegman is currently booking patient appointments for Jan. 4 and beyond. To schedule, contact our office at 513.271.5111 or officeinfo@lisalarkinmd.com.

Coenzyme Q-10 for Heart Failure?

Eugene Chung, MD
In our latest Medical Minute, cardiologist Eugene Chung, MD, discusses the use of Coenzyme Q-10 supplements in treating heart failure - a condition where weakened heart muscle leads to shortness of breath, excessive fatigue and fluid overload. Coenzyme Q-10 is an important part of the pathway by which the heart's cells generate energy; but does this "vitamin" really help patients with heart failure? Visit our website and click on Medical Minute to find out!
