Most moms see portable gaming systems as a handy tool to keep kids busy while errands are run and dinner is made. Turns out the people at Nintendo know we need mental stimulation too so they made games just for moms. But are they enough to keep you entertained and boredom at bay? We gathered four mummies to put three Nintendo games to the test. Armed with an assortment of wines, munchies and the Nintendo DSi XL, they got down to some serious gaming.

Alison Kramer is a mom of three and owner of Nummies nursing bras. She is perpetually lost with a diet coke in one hand and a blackberry in the other. She is a writer, mother, business woman, friend and lover of legwarmers. She's also a Waldorf parent, hot yoga addict, reluctant runner and certified twitter addict. Yummy Event: Movies For Mommies - Canada-wide

|  Toons for Toddlers Returns with the exclusive premiere of Thomas & Friends: Misty Island River on September 11th, 2010 at 10:30 am.
This program welcomes families with kids between the ages of 18 months -6 years who want to enjoy a cinema experience in a kid-friendly way. Screenings are only 60 minutes in length and run with reduced sound and dim lighting.
