If you know me, you'll know I have a secret dream of being a cowgirl. So when I was invited to visit the Calgary Stampede by the Alberta Tourist board, I grabbed my son and galloped to the airport.
But, if you knew me really well, it would comes as no surprise to you that I am a master multi-tasker - so I added an extra element to my Cowtown vacation. Yummy Event: The Chocolate Race - Ontario

 Part race, part festival and definitely a celebration of all things chocolate, the Chocolate Race takes place on Sunday, August 29 in Port Dalhousie.
As well as featuring a Half Marathon and 10 km and 5 km races for both runners and walkers, the event features fudge stations, chocolate-dipped strawberries, sinful chocolate cake, truffles and Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream.
