 I'm feeling a little old these days - not when I look in the mirror, but when I look in the stores. It seems everywhere I go I see snippets of styles pulled from my heyday in the 80's. Little black mini-skirts, batman tops, Doc Marten shoes, leather jackets, and leopard skin are what I wore when I worked at MuchMusic. What's 80's is hot again - but not for me.
As much as I want to look au courant, I also want to look my age. What's trendy for a 20 year old can be clownish for someone old enough to be their mother. So I'm not going there. I'm sticking with classics, but being a little daring with skinny jeans and playful accessories. My fashion statement: hot mama who knows who she is.

My passive aggressive side came out this week. Over the last few weeks I've been hearing soft murmurings from my husband, "Well, I only get s*x once a week..."
So I did what I usually do when I'm really mad: became stubborn and dug in my heels. "If he wants to have s*x, he'll have to make it work."

21% Run Away From Home
13% Work Outside The Home
This survey tells us most mummies wanna hang out with their kids if money weren't an issue, while 13% of mummies would still like to bring home the bacon and work their working muscle. But what made us laugh out loud was the 21% of mummies who would use their money to run away from home. Just goes to show, you can't put a price tag on a few minutes of peace.
