 Shopping is therapy for me. I get a rush when I hunt and gather goodies for me and my family. But this year there's a different vibe to my shopping experience. The desire to own more "stuff" has been subtly tempered with the reality of our new economy and thoughts of growing landfills. It's not that I'm a party pooper, but these days the need for greed is being replaced with keeping the big picture in mind. Now, more than ever, women with families are buying less plastic, looking for more value and giving gifts that give back.
