First Day Back At Work
People keep asking me if I'm nervous about going back to work. I don't understand this question. Do they mean am I afraid I might have lost some brain cells pushing out my baby during labour so that now I am unable to perform my job? If so, my answer is most definitely no.
If they mean am I afraid of leaving my baby after spending 24 hours a day, seven days a week with him for 21 months and devoting my whole heart and soul to him, then the answer is most definitely yes.
