Hello Friends of Parlando,
Due to many families asking about introductory classes for different instruments, we are excited to announce a new, 4-session class called "Instrument Investigators." It will meet over the course of four Saturdays between now and the end of the semester. It is designed so that interested students can try a variety of different instruments and see if there is one they like without committing to private lessons or an instrument rental ahead of time. Here are the details:
INSTRUMENT INVESTIGATORS!Saturdays: April 14, April 21, May 5 and May 19
Time: 11-11:45 am
Ages: Kindergarten through 4th grade
Cost: $52 (includes $12 materials fee)
Description: This 45 minute class offers students a chance to explore the different instrument families including winds, strings, brass and percussion. If your child has wanted to start an instrument, but hasn't been able to decide which one, this is the perfect class. Lead by the Director of Instrumental Studies, students will hear performances, have hands on time with instruments and build their own instruments during this four session class.
