In this newsletter we have information about a challenge grant we have received, two new classes that begin this month and registration, discounted pricing and tuition assistance for our Spring 2012 Semester.

We have received a Challenge Grant from the Bright Mountain Foundation.  Every new dollar we can raise between now and the end of the year will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000.  "New" donations are donations from new donors or the incremental difference between existing donors' 2011 donations and their 2010 donations.  Note that only donations given after September 27th, 2011 count toward the challenge.  Please help us make the most of this opportunity by donating today:

Ages 2-5, Thursdays 9:15-9:55am, October 13 through November 17, 6 Classes, $75

Young Mozarts Session 2: Young Mozarts is a parent/child music class for young children ages 2 through 5.  Every class includes singing, movement, instrument exploration, listening skill development, rhythm study and much more.  This class is designed to be hands-on, engaging and fun for children and their parents.  Most classes also include a topic-specific art project.

This class is taught by Travis LaBerge - Founder of Parlando and a teacher with more than 12 years of experience teaching preschool music.  For more information on Young Mozarts Session2

Grades 6-12, Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm, October 25 through December 13 (no class on 11/1, 22 or 29), 5 Classes, $160

Musical Theater Triple Threat Session 2: Join Broadway, National Tour and Regional Theater veteran Tracy Warren in this complete musical theater workout for aspiring "triple threat" performers.  In this workshop students will become part of a talented and hardworking ensemble as they replicate the professional working experience of creating several all-sing, all-dancing musical numbers sampled from historic, traditional and/or contemporary styles.  As each number entails singing, dancing and acting, the workshop will also include technical coaching and basic training in these areas as well as the integration of these three skills.

The session will include access for participants to rehearsals at Boulder's Dinner Theatre to observe actual coaching and integration of the three triple threat areas at the professional level.  The session will culminate in an open class in which family and friends may view the ensemble's process and final production numbers. Registration for our Spring 2012 Semester will begin on Tuesday November 1st, 2011.  "Early Bird" pricing will be in effect for the entire month of November with regular pricing beginning on December 1st (payment plans are available both online and in-person).  Register during the "Early Bird" period to receive our best pricing for next semester.

Note that the deadline for Spring 2012 tuition assistance requests is the first Friday in November (11/4).  Please send your request in early to make sure it is considered.  Requests should be sent to parlandoboulder@gmail.com.
