Hello Friends of Parlando,

With our Fall Semester beginning in less than a week I wanted to highlight a new class we are excited to be offering.  Our new Musical Theater Triple Threat Workshop will offer students the opportunity to explore singing, dancing and acting.  This is a great addition to our existing Voice and Theatrical classes as it offers students the opportunity to integrate all three of the "triple threat" areas in a way that is both educationally and artistically sound.  Each session will include access for participants to rehearsals at Boulder's Dinner Theatre to observe actual coaching and integration of the three triple threat areas at the professional level.  Each session will also culminate in a performance by the participants for family and friends.  

Students can take one or both of our seven-week sessions

Tracy Warren holds a Colorado Alternative Teaching Credential in both Theater and English.  She and her husband Trevor have two sons, Brandon 13 and Christopher 11.

taught by Tracy Warren.  Tracy is an exceptional instructor and performer.  Tracy has over 20 years of experience as a working professional in show business.  Her theatrical credits include

Broadway (Gypsy), National tours (Beauty and the Beast, Show Boat) and Regional Theaters across the country and, most recently, in the Boulder/Denver area (Boulder's Dinner Theatre, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse and Country Dinner Playhouse).

At Parlando it is of the utmost importance that all of our instructors are not only great performers but also excellent instructors.  In addition to holding a BFA in Musical Theater from Stephens College, Tracy also holds a Colorado Alternative Teaching Credential in both Theater and English.  She has taught, directed and choreographed shows for several BVSD schools.  In addition to her experience directing in the BVSD school system, Tracy is also a proud product of BVSD having graduated from Fairview High School "some years ago."

Details on the Musical Theater Triple Threat Workshops:

Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm at the Dairy Center

Session 1: 8/30 - 10/11

Session 2: 10/18 - 12/13 (no class on 11/1 or 11/22)

Tuition: $235/session or $445 for both (each option includes a Parlando t-shirt or $15 credit toward a Parlando hoodie).
