Hello Friends of Parlando,
Piano is one of, if not the most popular, instruments on which to begin private and group music lessons. Of the nearly 700 students at Parlando, half take piano lessons or are involved in our group piano classes. More than a third of our faculty are piano instructors and nearly all of them have an advanced degree in music. Our piano faculty is comprised of some of the very best instructors in the state and, collectively, is second to none. And, as our student body continues to grow, we continue to look for exceptional teachers across all instruments.
It is with great excitement that we are announcing the

newest addition to our piano faculty, Amy Lee. Amy holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Piano Performance from Bob Jones University in South Carolina and has studied with Mary Therese Soper, Benjamin Whitten, Anne Morton, David Lehman and, most recently, Kenneth Thompson. Amy teaches all ages and levels of students, but specializes with school-age children, intermediate level and beyond. Amy is active in many associations and is a Nationally Certified Piano Teacher through MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). An experienced teacher, Amy's desire for all of her students, regardless of ability level, is that they develop a passion and understanding of music and piano that will benefit them now and for the rest of their lives. Amy will begin teaching private lessons during the week of February 28th and will also be opening a new section of our highly popular group piano class, Kids N Keys, on Thursdays at 3:30 beginning on March 3rd. To find out more about Amy and/or get scheduled with her for private piano lessons or Kids N Keys, please contact the Director of our Piano & Keyboard Studio, Emily Book McGree:
