Primary Eyecare Network - Dedicated to Independent Optometry

Greetings!

The Keys to Success
Due to the success of Primary Eyecare Network's recent PIO 2008 event, we would like to keep all of our doctors informed with some valuable tips presented during the seminar.  Because the lectures focused on Expansion & Growth of the independent practice, the following action items were suggested.

PIO 2008 Action Items
  1. Review/Discuss your Mission Statement. Read it before each staff meeting.
  2. Discuss ways to be incomparable to your competition - why are you different?
  3. Investigate strengths and weaknesses of three major competitors.
  4. Develop perception objectives for each cycle of production/service.
  5. List ways to fulfill those perception objectives and insert into Office Policy Manual.
  6. Conduct a one hour weekly staff meeting to analyze and/or affect production and stat objectives.
  7. Review external marketing strategy for your yellow pages, website, signage, etc...
  8. Set monthly production targets. PIO 2008 - Entry, Exit, Expansion
