The Fayetteville Community Foundation recently donated $5,000 to the Peace at Home Family Shelter. FCF president & CEO Becky Brink, along with FCF Board Chair Jim Smith, presented Peace at Home CEO Judith Selle, and Peace at Home Board President James Keenan with the check to assist the shelter in helping domestic violence survivors.
"This generous gift by the Fayetteville Community Foundation will make a huge difference in the lives of women and children who are trying to escape violent homes," said Ms. Selle. "In our field, community concern and assistance is vital. Our partners in Northwest Arkansas are crucial to our success."
As Arkansas' oldest domestic violence program and the only domestic violence shelter in Washington County, Peace at Home Family Shelter has worked for 30 years to help abused women and children create new, peaceful lives for themselves.
