 I've just returned from back-to-back trips and have been having a blast! First I was in Indianapolis at the National Speakers Association conference where I delivered a presentation on how to Own Your Niche online. It felt like a lot of pressure to speak to a large group of fellow professional speakers, but it couldn't have gone better! Own Your Niche was the first book to sell out at the conference bookstore (!) and I had a great time getting to know many new people, and meeting several people who I only previously knew via social media and online events. It continues to amaze me how easily we can connect with people through the wonders of the internet.
On the way home, I had a two-hour layover at the Las Vegas airport and guess what happened?

After a quick two-day stop at home, I went to San Jose to attend the Tony Robbins Unleash the Power Within 4-day seminar. Yes, it was the now infamous seminar where 21 people were injured during the firewalk. I also participated in the firewalk, though no medical attention was needed! I wrote about the event on the blog.
Now I'm gearing up for the rest of the hot Sacramento summer, which will include trips to cool off in Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, and Lake Tahoe. Can't wait!
