In August the Perfect Wedding Guide and Professional Wedding Guild sponsored this informative session at the Emerald Event Center. It was the result of some of our Guild members telling us how little they new about Facebook and Linked In and their desire to enter the world of social media. Angel Guerrero with A.S.Web Pros graciously offered to provide the training and Gabriel Soltren with Soltren.net Video Production offered to record the session. Why the Humane Society of Alamance County?As you may or may not know there is a serious animal over population in our country. In 2008, 8,834 animals were taken to the Alamance municipal shelter. 6,432 of which were euthanized and this was just the municipal shelter.
In the last 5 years I have adopted 3 cats from the Humane Society of Alamance County through Burlington PetSmart. This past November I adopted a 6 year old Pomeranian mix through Ruff Love. I adopted my pets because I just love animals. I have a horse, Dunn Shot who is 25 and has been with me since she was 2. My pets bring a lot of joy and laughter in my into my life everyday.
Another reason I adopted is the number of animals that go into shelters each year. They need good homes and families. This really tears at my heart. So I thought by offering to sell these videos rather than just giving a link to everyone we could all do something good for these creatures.
