The Primary Is Over, Thank Heavens!!!

The Republican Primary is over, and statewide and locally, the Republican Party is moving forward with a slate of candidates.

We think this may have been Alachua County's first, ever, Republican Primary for Commission, and it certainly stirred a lot of emotion amongst candidates and supporters.

The Congressional District 3 Primary did much the same, but district wide.

While the primaries were going on, the Republican Party's most faithful volunteers and members have been working headquarters, regularly, making voter id calls, knocking on doors, manning the front desk and other things in preparation for the November 6th general election.  that is where the challenge lies, now.

Some great candidates came out of the Republican Primary.  Congratulations to Dr. Ted Yoho who won the Congressional District 3 Primary, and congratulations to John Martin who is the Republican nominee for County Commission, District 1.

Ted goes on to face an opponet in the general election that should not be much of a challenge, but we take nothing for granted, and Republicans all across the district need to make sure to help get Ted across the finish line.

John Martin has a tougher race for Alachua County Commission, as do Jean Calderwood, the Republican candidate for County Commission, District 3 and Dean Cheshire, the Republican candidate for County Commission District 5.  These candidates can win, if we all pitch in and help.

Our Republican nominee for U.S. Senate is Connie Mack.  For Senate District 7, its Rob Bradley, and for House District 21, its State Representative Keith Perry.

Of course, the race that will decide the future of the United States of America is the race for President of the United States.  Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are campaigning all around this great country.

Following is the contact information for all of the Republican candidates for Alachua County for the 2012 General Election.

Victory Headquarters

The Alachua County Republican Executive Committee Headquarters is a coordinated Victory Office.  Victory operations are up and running and we are pushing hard toward the November 6th election.

We are making thousands of phone calls and knocking on doors and have a huge goal to reach before the election season is over.

Headquarters is open from 9:00 A.M. until about 9:00 at night, Monday through Saturday, for phone banking, picking up bumper stickers, yard signs, t-shirts, etc, and it is open from Noon to 9 P.M. on Sunday.

We need your help!  One-to-one voter contact will be an important key in winning the elections, this year.  Republicans calling other Republicans is going to be more important than ever.  Come to headquarters and make phone calls, or we can give you call sheets to call from home.

We need help in the following areas:

Phone Banking:

For Phone Banking or Neighborhood Walking, call HQ and ask for John.

Poll Watching:

For the poll watching program, call HQ and ask for Mildred.
