ACREC Meeting Tonight - Government Gone Wild!
Tonight at 7:00 P.M., Blaise Ingolglia, the producer of Government Gone Wild will be giving his presentation to Alachua County Republicans.
The meeting will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge at 33 North Main Terrace. It will be an exciting evening!
Right after that, many of us will be staying around to watch the last primary date before Tuesday's Presidential Preference Primary.
What better way to get fired up to vote than to have Blaise give his GGW presentation! It promises to be a lot of fun!

Jan 26th - REC Business Meeting and Government Gone Wild:
On January 26th, we will be holding our next regular business meeting. The main program for that meeting will be a Government Gone Wild!, presentation, by the Government Gone Wild man, himself, our friend, Blaise Ingoglia.
The meeting will be at the usual meeting place, the FOP Lodge, at 7:00 P.M.
January 31st - Election Day! On January 31st, the polls open at 7:00 on the morning, in the City of Gainesville, for the Gainesville City Commission elections, and they open, countywide, for the Republican Presidential Preference Primary. If you have any questions about your polling place, absentee ballots, updating your absentee ballot signature or any other voting questions, please call the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections at 352-374-5252, or click here to visit their website. |

Gainesville City Commission Elections - Early and Absentee Vote Now
In addition to the Presidential Preference Primary, all voters that are residents of the City of Gainesville will can vote for Gainesville City Commission. The Republican Party recommends (names listed in alaphabetical order by last name) Donna Lutz, Darlene Pifalo or Nathan Skop. Early Voting started Saturday, January 21st and ends Saturday, January 28th. Early voting locations are: Supervisor of Elections at 12 SE 1st Street, Gainesville, Fl 32601 Millhopper Branch Library at 3145 NW 43rd Street, Gainesville, Fl 32606 Tower road Branch Library at 3020 SW 75th Street, Gainesville, Fl 32608 The times are Monday - Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10AM to 4 PM. You can find a sample ballot, here. If you are a county voter, outside of the limits of the City of Gainesville, you will have only the Presidential Preference Primary questions. Gainesville City Commission Elections and Candidates
On Tuesday, January 31st are the elections for Gainesville City Commission.
This election is non-partisan, and we urge you to look at all of the candidates. We also urge you to ask whether or not the candidates are for the GRU biomass incinerator / generator.
