The Newest Elected Republican In Alachua County
This has been a good year for Republicans in Alachua County. Todd Chase was elected to the City of Gainesville and Bill Conrad and Robert Fillyaw were elected to the Newberry City Commission.
Last night, Alachua County got its newest elected Republican. Our friend, Linda Gestrin, was elected to the High Springs Commission!
Linda ran a great campaign, and we are so proud of her!
Congratulations, Linda! |

Poll At The Alachua Republican Website
For a while, now, we have had a poll up at the Alachua Republican Website.
The poll question is, "Should The Taxing Three (Byerly, DeLaney and Long) be re-elected in 2012." Of course, we know that Rodney Long has announced that he is not seeking re-election, but we figured we would leave the question, as is, to gauge how people feel about the job they are doing.
Your choices for answers are:
Naw, Not Really
Probably Not
I Would Rather They Weren't
Definitely Not!
No Freakin' Way!
I Would Rather Be Dipped In Honey and Rolled In An Ant Hill!
