Republicans Elected!

Yesterday, Todd Chase was elected to the Gainesville City Commission, Distrcit 2.  Todd worked hard and ran a super race.  Congratulations, Todd!  You deserve it.

Also, in Newberry, Bill Conrad was elected to Mayor of Newberry.  Bill is a good man, and we know he will do a super job.  Congratulations, Bill!

Also, Robert Fillyaw was elected to the Newberry City Commission.  Congratulations, Robert!

Rob Zeller

Rob Zeller ran a great race in District 3, and we had a great time working with him.  Sadly, Rob didn't win, this time, but he is passionate about his ideals, and we know that great things are in store for him.

Congratulations, Rob, on a great race!

The Pirate Party!

The Alachua County Republican Party is proud to announce a grand summer event.

Pirate FlaggOn Saturday, May 7th, we are hosting a Pirate Party in honor Alachua County's most prolific pillagers and plunderers, Mike Byerly, Paula DeLaney and Rodey Long.  We doubt that they will show up, but we are going to honor The Taxing Three for their ability to simultaneously tax us into oblivion and create a $400 million road repair deficit at the same time.

The Pirate Party is going to be a fish fry with a live band, tea, beer and wine and is going to be held at the beautiful Prarie Creek Lodge east of Micanopy.  Adult tickets are $25 and child tickets (15 year or under) are $10.  You can get tickets by contacting the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee at 352-373-8500 or going to Beaty Restaurant Equipment and Supplies at 1206 North Main Street in Gainesville.  Tickets will also go on sale, very soon, on our website.
