As an early Black Friday special, I'm offering free R9 Sleeve/Free R9 Install labor on the new Aldila RIP (orders now through November 30, 2010). Send me a note so we can discuss flex, final playing length and ordering information.
Check out my launch and spin chart at http://www.clubmaker-online.com/products/aldila.launch.html . The chart shows how each piece of the Aldila shaft puzzle fits in comparison to one another. Looks like the RIP fits in the low spin/mid-low launch zone, great for you heavy hitters and rainmakers looking to bring your ball trajectory down a bit. I offer the full line of Aldila products, including their excellent taper tip and parallel tip iron shafts for those of you looking to reshaft your irons with graphite to help a bit on the wear and tear on your body vs. steel shafts. I specialize in Taylormade and R9 reshafts (including the latest models) and I suggest the Aldila RIP for most of my clients. I use a high quality aftermarket sleeve and your new shaft will arrive ready to be installed in your R9. Email me at jhm@clubmaker-online.com for a price quote. The RIP is also available as a component and I'd like to offer free shipping on all Aldila shafts. |

Another Black Friday early bird special. I can get my hands on a few of the 2009 version of the Air Force One Nitrogen filled driver, assembled with a Fujikura shaft and headcover for $99 each plus shipping (until gone). As of this writing there were 50 of the 10.5 loft Stiff flex, 10 of the 9.5 loft Stiff flex, 10 of the 9.5 loft Regular flex, and 2 of the 8.5 loft XX flex.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the clubhead but wanted to get the special out to you guys before the assembled drivers are gone. I've still got some of the 2010 Air Force One clubheads at $99 each, too. |

My new Traverse HiCor Superlight 190 gram driver head is supposed to ship December 10. It's in production now, ready for the final mirror polish that this manufacturer is known for. I can get 1 gram screws to replace the two 5 gram screws that come with the head so you can experiment with a 182 gram head weight (for a final weight of about 274 grams depending on the shaft and grip you use). The extra screws are $2 each, send me a note if you'd like me to add them to the order.
All but about 12 of the 10 deg and 12 of the 12 deg heads are spoken for from the first batch, follow the link below if you'd like to order this great new clubhead (or have me build one for you). I've had a Clubmaker Online Facebook page going for some time now. Go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Clubmaker-Online/181867993392 and "Like" me if interested in that sort of thing. There's a discussion section, a few photos, videos and other fun things so we can interact. |

There's a really cool new superlight shaft line called the Blur from Fujikura. The first shaft is a 55g version in r2, R, and S flex with a 45g and 65g version coming in January. It's unique in that most sub 60g shafts have very soft tips and high launch. The Blur is mid launch, mid spin, mid kick point. I'm planning on offering it as a premium upgrade to my Traverse HiCor driver.
The Blur has one of the nicest graphic/paint treatments of any shaft in recent memory. It's sort of a transparent blue "wash" that highlights the new VEXX woven fabric material with a silver ion fade-in to fade out in the center of the shaft to show off the Blur logo. It is sharp. Read up on the new shaft at the link below, here's a short blurb from Dave Schnider, Fujikura Pres: The Blur is the centerpiece of Fujikura's new lightweight platform. According to Fujikura President and COO Dave Schnider "It's the lightest weave we've ever encountered by far," Schnider said. He added that the VEXX woven-fabric lends itself to a lighter weight but also has the feel, torque and stiffness properties associated with a heavier shaft. I'm offering free R9 sleeve/R9 Install labor with Blur purchase. Send me a note to discuss final playing length and for a link to my orderform. The Blur will be excellent in the longer, lighter Supertri R9. Price is MSRP $300, my price is $199. |
