Free shipping continues on the Aldila Voodoo
NV and Voodoo VS shafts. Link below
What sets the VooDoo apart from other shafts is its patent pending S-core, or stabilized core, Technology designed to increase distance and provide outstanding accuracy with each swing. The real "magic" of the VooDoo is the high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft. "Our S-core Technology dramatically stabilizes the shaft's cross-section through the use of an internal carbon-fiber rib system," said John Oldenburg, Aldila's Vice President of Engineering. "The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors' attempts at cross sectional stabilization." Carter Penley is one of the few - if any,
owner, founder and designer that is full time
at the manufacturing plant and on the floor
of the manufacturing facility tuning the
manufacturing process and is personally
involved in making course corrections and
solving manufacturing problems on a daily, if
not hourly basis.
Carter's latest design is the Heater2 Hybrid and here's what he has to say about Hybrid Shaft Design: "The better ball strike is one that launches the ball a few degrees higher than the loft of the head and carries 80% of the distance to the target and then drops at a 50 to 55 degree angle to the target surface with virtually a soft impact and very little roll, allowing the player to achieve their desired distance with accuracy and confidence with every strike." The Penley Heater 2 Hybrid is 90 grams, 2.3 torque, and features a black and optic yellow paint treatment. |

KBS has designed a new wedge shaft called the
Hi-Rev that is designed to make up for recent
Groove-Rule changes. They're hard to come by,
If you'd like one, I've got 3 in my wedge
shaft stash in Stiff flex (125g, taper tip).
Price is $38 each.
Here's more info from KBS- Designed to impart additional backspin on the ball, the all-new KBS Hi-Rev couldn't have been introduced at a better time. With the controversial 2010 Groove-Rule changes recently taking effect, the KBS Hi-Rev delivers with more spin and control around greens. By lengthening the tip section, beefing up the weight and keeping the signature KBS step profile; the KBS Hi-Rev shaft will amplify your game while maintaining the signature 'feel' players have come to expect from KBS. |

Another Fujikura win this past weekend with
the young Irishman playing Rombax V and ZCom
Pro shafts in his 3- and 5-woods, respectively.

I'm pretty sure the winner of the The Crowns
tournament (he shot a final round 58) was
hitting the Graphite Design TourAD Di in his
driver. Need to confirm it but he was playing
it a few weeks
ago.http://www.clubmaker-online.com/products/gd.tourad.di.html
I'm carrying the Mitsubishi Thump and Fubuki hybrids shafts. Great hybrid shafts. Send me a note for assembled pricing on the entire Mitsubishi line. http://clubmaker-online.com/fubuki.html Japan clubmaker Fourteen Golf has added a black finish to their V5 wedge line, contact me for pricing. Nice looking forged wedge series. Had a chance to hit both the Matrix HD6 and new Radix HD shafts. The HD is for heavy hitters, the Radix is a bit more forgiving, you don't feel like you have to come out of your shoes. Blue color is cool, too. http://clubmaker-online.com/mcc/radix.html |
