Tacki Mac's colorful new ITOMIC grips are not
like traditional rubber grips. They are made
from a proprietary blend of elastomeric
materials that are very tacky with a super
soft (but firm) feel. This revolutionary
blend of thermo-forming materials is both
very durable, and high performing in all
weather conditions. ITOMIC grips maintain
their tacky feel and new look for years by
washing them with warm soapy water. The new
Itomic grips are available in black, white,
red, or blue and in a new wrap style. Follow
the link below to order Itomic grips direct
from Tacki Mac.

Only a few days left to
Save $50 on the UST AXIV Black, Red, or Green
series (reg. $140) and 22% off on the Blue.
Sale Ends Thursday 4-29. I'm also including a
really nice matching UST Mamiya grip. The
grip is the new Comp SC series
http://www.ustmamiya.com/golf_grips/products.aspx?id=2
The graphics on the shaft are black with
gold/silver logos, a small silver band, then
a really sharp gold/yellow (sort of a
dandelion yellow like my front lawn) and the
new grip matches the shaft perfectly, which
is tough to do! Great job from UST.
Don't miss out on this chance to save a ton on the AXIVcore shaft series, there's a model for any swing in this excellent shaft line. |

Shaftmaker Harrison has a great new driver
called the Hathaway. It's a cast head like
the premium priced OEM drivers and includes
their interchangeable shaft system for those
of you that like to experiment with a variety
of golf shafts. The V4 has
more of a rounded/traditional look and the V6
more of a triangular high MOI design for
forgiveness and a bit higher launch/spin vs.
the V4.
The driver includes the Harrison Saga or for a small upcharge you can request their new Eclipse shaft (see story later in The Clubmaker Report). They designed this driver to compete with and beat (and their testing confirms) the most popular OEM interchangeable driver in distance. Read a bit about the new driver below and follow the link for pictures and specs. From Harrison: The V4 and V6 driver incorporates our exclusive 4 X 4 platform. It embodies versatility, distance and control. Our patented Plasma Dual Face, dual furnace investment casting maximizes ball speed across the entire clubface for ultimate distance, and the cutting edge 4 Max technology lowers ball spin while increasing the effective moment of inertia for unrivaled accuracy off the tee. 4Mix technology offers shaft, loft, lie, and face angle adjustability and you can purchase extra 4Mix sleeves to interchange shafts. |

Harrison is introducing a new shaft called
the Eclipse. I spoke with Mike at Harrison
and he tells me the new shaft is designed
specifically with distance in mind. They
accomplish this with their new shaft design
feature called Active Response Technology
(ART).
The Eclipse shares some of the design features of the popular Harrison Saga shaft but their testing shows the Eclipse is longer vs. the Saga. New graphics/paint treatment are sharp and you can expect more exciting new products from Harrison in 2010. The Eclipse can be requested as an upgrade shaft in the Harrison Hathaway driver mentioned above. There is a small upcharge for the Eclipse shaft, contact me for pricing. |

can get roughly 3,000 pieces, when these are
gone the sale is over.

What sets the VooDoo apart from other shafts
is its patent pending S-core, or stabilized
core, Technology designed to increase
distance and provide outstanding accuracy
with each swing. The real "magic" of the
VooDoo is the high modulus carbon
stabilization rib running the length of the
shaft. "Our S-core Technology dramatically
stabilizes the shaft's cross-section through
the use of an internal carbon-fiber rib
system," said John Oldenburg, Aldila's Vice
President of Engineering. "The innovative rib
structure increases hoop strength/stiffness
so much that it is 80 percent greater than
conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent
greater than competitors' attempts at cross
sectional stabilization." Visit the Aldila
Voodoo Web Site here http://aldilavoodoo.html
. For a chart showing launch and spin
characteristics of the entire Aldila line, go
