Graman Chrome "Limey"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Graman has released a chrome (actually silver metallic) version of it's popular "Limey" series of shafts. Customers complained that they loved the feel and performance of the shafts but couldn't handle the day-glo yellow/green color.
Graman listened and released the UL540, UL440, UL640, UL580 hybrid, and the UL580i iron in a classy looking silver metallic paint treatment (with just a touch of dayglo in the logo). The Chrome Limey's are lightweight, low torque and are 48" with a 4" parallel tip section. The UL440 is one of my all-time favorites. Only 55g, 3.3 torque in L, A, R, or S flex and only $36.
AJ Square Drivers in Golfweek
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nice article in Golfweek recently on square drivers and the AJ Square driver was featured. It's a great clubhead and is designed to take advantage of it's high moi design but it doesn't look as wild as some of the other square heads you may have seen. The paint treatment on the crown gives it a pleasing appearance at address (dark grey in the center and fades to black around the edges). Head is on sale for $125.

Accuflex Evolution Tour Victory
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nice win by Woody Austin recently using the Accuflex Evolution. Here's the PR from Accuflex: AccuFLEX Golf Shafts captured its 24th PGA Tour Victory this past weekend and would like to congratulate the winner of the Stanford St. Jude Championship held at TPC Southwind in Memphis, TN. The winner used AccuFLEX Golf's Evolution shafts in his driver and fairway wood to shoot a final round of 62 and blow by the rest of the field to post a final score of 13 under par for the tournament. The victory earned him a paycheck of $1,080,000.00 proving once again that "It pays to play an AccuFLEX Golf shaft."
The Evolution is great for hard hitters, try the Evolution Lite for an easier to hit (but still very stable) shaft.
