Greetings!
Isn't it funny how things have a real impact on you at times and in places you least expect them? I was at the cinema yesterday and in one of the trailers (I can't remember which!) a phrase came up which really made me stop and think. It went something like this:
"Everything will be fine in the end. If it's not fine right now, it isn't the end."
What struck me about this is how true it is. We often worry ourselves half to death, churn things over in our minds, agonise about decisions and feel bereft and lost when faced with life's challenges. When we're faced with loss, separation, difficult decisions and upset of the various types one encounters in life, it's easy to forget all those other times when things have happened and yet, in the end we've survived and sometimes thrived as a result. So why do we give ourselves such a hard time over these things and strain, resist and struggle to find a solution?
If you're still in pain about something, it's because whatever you're going through isn't over yet. There's still something that needs to be done, learned or understood. It could simply be to let go of something. It could be to accept something you've found hard to come to terms with, it could be a change of attitude or perspective or it could be something of a more practical nature. Whatever it is, rather than struggle and strain through it, try standing back and letting go a little and accepting that this is where you are right now, but that doesn't have to mean you will always feel this way. There will be a solution or a coming to terms. It will get easier and you will find peace with yourself if you just let it happen.
I hope you find these words as comforting as I did. Remember, "If it's not fine right now, it isn't the end." When it is the end, you'll know because everything will be fine again. If you need some objective, compassionate support meantime, you know where to find it!
Finally, whether or not you book a session or buy my guided relaxation recordings, my aim is to teach and inspire people to love themselves and their lives, no matter who they are, what they have done or what's going on in their lives. One of the ways I can do this is through this newsletter. If I can help you or someone you know, I'll be glad to be of service.
With much love
Annie xx
