"2" plays Zoa at Lexington Music Club Jan.29

Greetings!
The last weekend of January is busy with some great concerts. I hope to see you at one or more.

January 27 is also the end of the RocketHub fundraiser for my Spindrift Commissioning Guild 2012 projects - Duo & Trio: Chamber Music with Flute.
14 more days!
I've gotten offline donations from some generous patrons so we've actually raised $1380 as of January 14 with still a ways to go.

I invite you to donate now, because creating, presenting, and recording new music costs money and we need you!

Pam's recommendation: I can't be at this concert because Concord Orchestra is the same night, but with the Addington/Arnold Duo, Vortex Other Dimension and Aaron Larget-Caplan on the concert, it's going to be a great evening.

BTW, the Duo of Spindrift Commissioning Guild 2012 is for Addington/Arnold.

"2" plays Zoa at the Lexington Music Club
Sunday, January 29, 2012  3pm
First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Road, Lexington
Donations accepted for scholarship fund
 More info

The annual public concert of the Lexington Music Club features member-performers and guests, in a lovely afternoon of music, raising money for our annual music scholarships for Lexington High School graduates.

Program includes Zoa by Pamela J. Marshall for flute and harp

Pam's note: Peter Bloom, flute and Mary Jane Rupert, harp, are the duo "2". In September, they premered Zoa, written especially for them. The piece features melodic moments and instrument-made noises and extended techniques, reflecting the otherworldly associations of the word Zoa. Peter will play alto flute and piccolo as well as the familiar C flute.
