3 lily pads
Namaste!

Lately my life seems to be a lot of hustling and bustling around in order to relax and I have to say it's not the best way to achieve a sense of balance. Spending the last weekend with my spiritual teacher and mentor Master Ou Wen Wei, brought me back to not just the ideal life he realizes but an ideal mentality of how to live it. I realize that when I approach life with an anxiety driven"there will never be enough" or "I don't have enough ____", everything I say, do and feel, reflects that mind set. I'll continue to push myself to see one more client, answer one more email or call one more person, often resulting in overwhelm and stress. So I asked myself (yet again)...What if I tried a different approach? (easier said than done right?)

It seems I have once again been caught in the whirlwind of over-scheduling or anticipating future events rather than pacing myself and enjoying what's right here in front of me. Sound familiar?

After asking Master Ou about this topic, he gave 3 very helpful thoughts on what to tell myself to help remain calm and peaceful through daily life. (again, WAY easier said then done).

1) It's unnecessary to be anxious or worried.

2) Whether I believe it or not, I have enough time.

3) The Divine will give me the ability I need for the situation.

It might mean I have to give up a few things or events, but gain in more meaning.  I might finally be able to play the mountain dulcimer that's been hanging in my house for a year, cook a delicious meal for friends or get to share a quiet, meaningful cup of tea with my husband every morning. I'll take it!

So here is a reminder to myself and all of you that Life is now, so get out there and ACTUALLY smell the roses or leaves or earth, notice the details of a smile or the harmonic resonance of a plucked string. October brings us many opportunities to be in the moment! Within the ordinary, you can see the Great; the average contains the Special.

Peace,
Anisha

A New Style of YOGA!

This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to work closely with Master Ou Wen Wei (creator of Pangu Mystical Qi Gong) in co-creating Pangu Yoga.

Pangu Yoga is a brand new system of yoga that uniquely blends the deep principles of Pangu Mystical Qi Gong with the essence of yoga. Both paths share a common purpose, to discover the profound relationship between man, nature and the universe and to be in union with Grace, with Divine Spirit, sharing that Love and Compassion with others. The Light, Energy and healing principles of master Ou's Qi Gong is infused within the movement and breath of a simple yet powerful yoga practice, grounded in Love and Kindness.

We co-created this form in hopes of bringing this profound practice and energy to more people around the world. Pangu yoga brings profound health and spiritual benefits to students: a strong internal body, a healthy immune system, a clear, calm and focused mind, balanced emotions and the cultivation of spirit, heart and soul.

In the words of Master Ou, "in this practice, your body touches the earth in several ways, but your spirit transcends".

If this is a practice that interests you please let me know as I'll be teaching a workshop in the near future.
