Spring graduation reception
To celebrate graduation from Ohio State, all graduating international students, family members and friends are invited to a special International Student Graduation Reception sponsored by the Office of International Affairs and The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Join us for cake and punch on Friday, June 8, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. in the Ohio Staters Traditions Room in the Ohio Union.
Every graduating student will be introduced at the reception and presented with a commemorative Ohio State pin in recognition of this festive and important occasion. If you have a country flag, please bring it to the reception and display it with pride, and don't forget your camera! A photographer from the Office of International Affairs will also be taking photos, which will be made available to you.
Please let us know if you are able to attend the reception, indicate the number of people coming with you and tell us about about any outstanding student accomplishments or leadership achievements you had while at Ohio State.

Beginning in Summer 2012, Ohio State is moving from an academic calendar based on quarters to one based on semesters. This will create some changes in enrollment and vacation terms.
All international students (except those in their first or final term of study) will be automatically issued a vacation term for each Summer Semester beginning in 2012. Full-time enrollment will be required during all Autumn and Spring Semesters.
All F-1 and J-1 students are allowed one period of "vacation" per year, during Summer Term. You are not required to enroll full time during Summer, and it is no longer necessary to report a vacation request to International Affairs.
For questions about enrollment as it relates to vacation terms, please contact an immigration coordinator.
