Share Your International Student Experience
|
The International Student Life (ISL) University-Wide Committee, a collaboration between the Office of International Affairs (OIA) and the Office of Student Life, was established to study the current and foreseeable needs of international students as part of university-wide efforts to increase and enhance international services. As part of this effort, the committee is interested in hearing about the experience of international students and will be conducting a series of focus groups where you can share your stories and opinions. Please join us for an open dialogue about the international student experience at Ohio State. Food and drinks will be provided. Register with at least 24-hour notice.

| Taste of OSU 2012 | Taste of OSU is an event that draws more than 4,000 people to the Ohio Union for cultural performances, exhibits and food from around the world provided by more than 30 different international and ethnic clubs. Taste of OSU 2012 will take place on Friday, January 27 from 5 - 9 p.m. Applications will be available soon. Student organizations are encouraged to explore past events through the Taste of OSU website, and consider the requirements for participation. This is a tremendous student leadership growth opportunity, and the amount of planning and teamwork involved is significant. Participation in Taste of OSU involves selecting recipes, attending food safety classes, shopping for ethnic ingredients, creating a cultural display and cooking thousands of portions of food over a 3-day period. Some groups also present cultural performance (dance, music, etc). Taste of OSU is a great way to share your culture with the campus community at Ohio State. |
