Off The Map

Hallock Library
Off the Map presents 8 actors performing 22 characters exploring the challenges facing small towns in the midwest and incorporates video. They traveled to Ruso, Olga, Hazelton and elsewhere, arriving in "oil country" where the problems of small town survival are drastically shifting. The play is based on interviews conducted by the playwright, Kathy Coudle-King, from 2010-11, as she visited more than 50 towns.

They will presenting this great show at the Hallock City Hall on Sunday, October 7, at 7:00 p.m.

Binoculars Clinic

NWRL Branches
Bring your binoculars for a checkup, try out new models and find out what's best for backyard birdwatching, watching butterflies, sports, hunting, kids and travel.

Learn what the numbers (7x35) mean.  See what's best for eyeglass wearers and how to find the right "fit" for your face and hands.

Agassiz Audubon's Heidi Hughes knows binoculars.  She'll bring several models for you to try out - and if you already own  a pair, she'll show you how to make them work better for you. Eagle Optics is helping us out by  loaning Agassiz Audubon binoculars to use to demonstrate binocular "bells and whistles."
