Advantage of Giving NWRL Your E-mail Address

NWRL

Do you have an email address that you check regularly? Does the library have your email address? Now, you may be wondering why exactly the library would want you email address. Well here are a few great reasons to make sure you have a current email address on your library account.

  1.    Electronic notice of when books come in for you. When you request a book we will automatically send you and email letting you know that your book is ready to be picked up. You don't have to wait for us to call you, or send a postcard. Often people check their email before they leave town. If you check your e-mail at work, or on your phone, you can pick up your book without an extra trip into town.
  2.     Electronic reminders of over-dues. When you have an email address attached to your library account we will send you reminders that you have materials that will be due soon. We will also send you overdue notices to your email instead of a postcard. This cuts down on the confusion of getting a postcard the day after you return your overdue books to the library.
  3.     Electronic newsletter to notify you of programs. Did you know that NWRL has a weekly e-newsletter? This is a great way to keep up with events that are going on in you library, and what's going on in NWRL. Sign-up for it on our website:
    http://nwrlib.org/nwrl-newsletter-subscription

Still worried about getting all sorts of spam mail? Don't worry NWRL never shares any of your information with any other organizations.
