Northwest Regional Library will be available to speak to your community organization!

 NWRL

Hi! My name is Kari Mooney. I have spent my entire life in our Region, raised in Newfolden, and a 20+ year resident of Thief River Falls. After spending 20 years at Computer Run Radio Shack in Thief River Falls, I have spent the last year and a half in the business office of Northwest Regional Library.

I was amazed, coming from the retail side of life into a non-profit, publicly funded system, at all I didn't know about what being a Regional Library System means. It surprised me how much goes on behind the scenes to create the local libraries we all enjoy and frequently use - how our library system started, how it's funded, and what it can do.

I am not alone! Many people I visit with in our community are also intrigued. SO!!! A presentation on just who Northwest Regional Library is, what it does, and how it does it is being readied to bring to your local group meeting this summer - just give me a call at the office (218) 681-1066 extension 2, to schedule a time to bring this great presentation to your organization's meeting.
