Happening This Week

Bring the kids into the Greenbush Public Library for a pre-school party on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:30 a.m.! Teens, join us for Game Club on Tuesday, January 24, from 3:33 to 4:44 p.m. Join us to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Thursday, January 26 at 6:00 p.m. Sign up for the "Learn to Crochet" class on Monday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. at the Greenbush Public Library. Please contact the library and register by Thursday, January 26.       

 

In the Hallock Library this week come in for story time on Tuesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. Also on Tuesday, the Library Board will be meeting at 5:15 p.m. On Thursday, January 26, at 6:30 p.m. join Heidi Hughes from the Audubon society to learn how to attract birds to your yard. Bring the family in for the Saturday Morning Movie with free popcorn on Saturday, January 28.   

 

This week at the Red Lake Falls Library Permanent Ink Writers group meets on Wednesday, January 25, at 5:30 p.m. Family night is also on Wednesday. Bring the family in for a game night! Bring in the little ones for story time on Friday, January 27, at 10:30 a.m.  

 

Join the Roseau Library on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:30 a.m. for story time.  

 

Monday, January 23 is a busy night at  the Thief River Falls Library. Portraits of Us will be here from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Bring in you family, friends, or club to get your picture taken. Call the Library to reserve a spot! Heidi Hughes will also be in the library talking about birding books and other resources for identifying birds. On Tuesday, January 24, the Afternoon Book Club will be discussing Nature Girl, by Carl Hiassen. February's book selection is The Dressmaker of Khair Khana, by Gayle Tzemach Lemmon.
 
Not sure what to do with the kids on Monday, January 23, with no school at WAO? Send them to the Warren-Godel Library for a movie! Join Char and The Mystery Book Club on Thursday, January 26, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Cause of Death, by Patricia Cornwell.  Coming to Godel Library Monday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. is Sami Dare, Hypnotist. Learn all about Goal Achievement through Self-Hypnosis.  A great all around relaxation. Reprogram your mind to experience stressful situations differently.  

 

Come to the Warroad Library on Thursday, January 26, at 6:00 p.m. for "So You Want to be a Writer?" with Kim Hruba. Get tips on writing, business, resources, and writing practices.
