Happening This Week

Come to the Greenbush Library for Movie Night on Thursday, December 1, at 6:00 p.m.

              GREENBUSH SANTA DAYS  

 Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greenbush Community Center.  

Children's Store-have the kids shop for those special people on their Christmas lists!  

Santa's Workshop-Fun and crafts for everyone as we turn the Greenbush Public Library into Santa's Workshop!  

Bake Sale sponsored by the Greenbush--Middle River 6th grade class  

Basket Raffle-enter for a chance to win a fabulous array of prizes Pictures with Santa-$2 or bring your own camera!

BBQ lunch served from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  

 

In the Hallock Library this week story hour is Tuesday, November 29, at 11:00 a.m. with Christmas Chimes!   

   

Come to the Red Lake Falls Library on Thursday, December 1, at 6:00 p.m. for the Family Movie, and at 7:00 p.m. the book club is meeting to discuss The Thirteenth Tale, by Diane Setterfield. Bring the kids in for story time on Friday, December 2 at 10:30 a.m.    

 

Join the Roseau Library on Tuesday, November 8, at 10:30 a.m. for story time. Santa is going to the at the Library! Come in on Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. visit Santa, have your picture taken, have lunch and make crafts in the City Center! 

 

Come to the Thief River Fall Library on Monday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. to learn about Owls. Heidi Hughes from the Audubon Society is back to tell all sorts of fascinating facts about owls!  Family Night is Thursday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m., with a Winter Wonderland theme. Mark your calendars now for our other Family Night in December, December 15, when Agassiz National Wildlife staff will be with us, having lots of fun with backyard birdfeeding. On Saturday, December 3, at 11:00 a.m. we are having a very special event. Students with the 21st Century Group from Red Lake Middle and High Schools will be doing a special presentation of Ojibwe culture. There will be drumming, dancing and legends. Great for all ages. You will not want to miss it!  

 

Come to the Warren-Godel Library on Monday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. for Science Time. This month we will look into rocks and fossils and some fun with magnets. Join Dawn on Tuesday, November 29, at 3:30 p.m. for Toddler Time. This week we will do Mitten Lacing. We will trace around your hands to make a pair of mittens that we can decorate and lace to have for a special winter decoration. All participants receive a snack and juice box. Come to Classic Book Club at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, and Story Time on Friday December 2 at 11:00 a.m. As a reminder, Toddler Time will be moved to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Storytime will be at 11:00 a.m. on Fridays beginning in December.   

 

Come to the Warroad Library on Sunday, December 4, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the end of the "Got Books? We Do!" Book fair that has been running since November 20. Come and get a book for the reader on your Christmas list!

Come and Learn about Ojibwe Culture   

Thief River Falls Library
Come to the Thief River Falls Library on Saturday, December 3, at 11:00 a.m to see students with the 21st Century Group from Red Lake Middle and High Schools (not to be confused with Red Lake Falls!) put on a special presentation of Ojibwe culture. There will be drumming, dancing and an explanation of legends. Bring the family! Great for all ages. You will not want to miss it!
