Happening This Week

Join the Greenbush Library and the Greenbush Women of Today at Legion Park Wednesday, August 17, at 6:00 p.m. for "Nature Night." 

   

Join Karen at the Grygla Link Library on Thursday, August 18, for the Summer Reading Program Wrap-up. Grand prizes and certificates will be awarded! 

 

Come to the Hallock Library for story time on Tuesday, August 16, at 11:00 a.m. for "Brunch Lunch." On Wednesday, August 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., come and learn about weather survival in Minnesota weather.  

 

Come into the Red Lake Falls Library on Thursday, August 18, for for Family Night at 6:00 p.m. We will be making plaster animal tracks.   

 

Join the Roseau Library for story time Tuesday, August 16, at 10:30 a.m., followed by "Picnic on the Patio" from 11:15 a.m. to noon.  

 

Come and celebrate your summer reading success!  The Thief River Falls Library will host a Summer Reading Program Wrap-Up Party on Wednesday, August 17, at 3:00 p.m.  Bring in your reading records or passports and choose your prize!  We will celebrate summer reading fun with stories, activities and more. Thursday, August 18th at 5:15 p.m., the Thief River Falls Library Evening Book Club will discuss Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Everyone is welcome. Thursday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. is Family Fun Night at the TRF Library.  Bring out the whole family for a night of Bingo!  

 

Come to the Warren Library to enjoy classic T.V. on Monday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m. Toddler Time is on Tuesday, August 16, at 1:30 p.m. This week we will be making foam door hangers. Kids come in for the all-day scavenger hunt on Wednesday, August 17. There will be sheets for all ages. The Mystery Book Club will start again on Thursday, August 18, at 6:30 p.m. Agatha Raisin and the Haunted House will be discussed. Everyone is welcome to join! Looking ahead to Monday, August 22, the Warren Library is excited to welcome the W's, a local music group that will perform at 7:00 p. m. on the library lawn.  

 

Join the Warroad Library for an "Out of Africa" themed story time on Friday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m. This is also the end of the summer reading program.

Remarkable Reptiles 

Northwest Regional Libraries  

 

  

On August 4 and 5, James Gerholdt and his Remarkable Reptiles came to all seven of the Northwest Regional Libraries as part of the Summer Reading Program wrap-up. Jim imparted his vast knowledge of reptiles and amphibians to 735 children and adults through fun stories and facts. Everyone who attended enjoyed the fun and educational program that Jim shared.

The W's   

Warren Library    

 

Warren-Godel Library is pleased to present the W's. The W's are a local band made up of members from the Waldorf family.   They play old-fashioned, classical and Christian music.They will perform on the lawn at Warren-Godel Library on Monday, August 22, at 7:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy this wonderful musical experience!
