Exploring Japan Through Origami

Red Lake Falls Library

Six energetic kids participated in an Introduction to Irish Step-dancing at the Red Lake Falls Library on Wednesday, July 27, at 3:00 p.m. as part of the Summer Reading Program "One World Many Stories." Mariah Sipper, of Oklee, taught the children one complete dance which they then performed for the patrons in the library.

Mariah has a keen interest in this form of dance, as well as Norwegian folkdance, ballet and others, which she has done over the past 10 to 12 years.

Many thanks to Mariah for presenting this fun program and to the Summer Reading Program kids who spent their afternoon learning a new dance!
