Mark your calendars for October 10, 2011, and get your practice rounds in. The golf outing is coming. Check the event listing on the Stomp the Monster website for the latest information.

Important: If you are interested in this event, update your profile to include the mailing list that is specific for that event (note: the update link will let you submit your email address;  follow the emailed instructions to reach a page where you can check a box for the Golf Outing list). This is important, as we may not send details on that to our entire list - we don't want to hit the non-golfers with unwanted messsagess.

Stomp the Monster™ Team In Action

Yes... we've been busy with the 5K, and yes, we are now filling the pipe with future stomps since - thanks to you - Stomp the Monster now has more resources to work with.  But, we've also been busy helping folks in need, right now.

Recently, Stomp the Monster was contacted by a mother in need.  Only 2 months after, heartbreakingly, losing a 4 year battle with her son's leukemia,  the mother was diagnosed herself with breast cancer.  Struggling to get back on her feet after surgery to remove the tumor, with only a small family for support, Stomp the Monster stepped in with food, gas cards, and the encouraging knowledge that she was NOT alone.

Stomp the Monster is not just about charity - it's about squeezing out the biggest impact with the funds raised, being an advocate, and building teams.

If you know someone fighting cancer, who needs some help, let us know.

Sponsorship Thanks
Be sure to patronize and thank the 5K sponsors shown below.  Also, thanks to A&P (Old Bridge), Bagel World (Marlboro), Dunkin Donuts (Oldbridge), and Wegmans (Manalapan) - folks not shown below, who helped out with race-day goodies.

Stomp the Monster would not be possible without help.  Thanks to all our sponsors!

Seth Update

Seth continues to move through his autologous stem cell transplant procedure. Stomping Feet

He's been in the hospital since early May, for stem cell harvesting, mega chemo, and the stem cell transplant.  The transplant took place on May 18th, after a 9 day chemo treatment and precisely one year after his diagnosis. Seth is now recovering in the hospital.  Many thanks to folks who filled out Stomping Feet for Seth at the 5K - there are now hundreds decorating his room.

We all know that Seth wanted to be at the 5K in person, but he had something more important to do - getting well - and his family did a great job standing in for him. Margie and the kids were amazing, inspiring everyone with their words, grace and charm.

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,
