"Wow!" That's the word we heard over and over again on Friday, May 4, as we celebrated the opening of the Hank Norton Athletic Center. It was a spectacular day for the College as students, faculty, staff, Trustees, alumni, friends, and people from the community all joined in the festivities.
"Thanks!" to all of you who helped make the Hank Norton Center a reality. It was a long time coming but the wait was worth it. Coach Hank Norton said it best that day, "I may have seen bigger athletic facilities, but I've never seen better!"
"Congratulations!" to the class of 2012! As our newest alums received their diplomas on Saturday, May 5, not even the threat of a rainstorm could dampen enthusiasm. We moved the graduates and their families inside to Swartz Gym and the overflow crowd in Franklin Hall was also able to "be there" via live streaming of the ceremony.
