Panther outside Franklin Hall

Greetings!

It's another fabulous fall at Ferrum! From welcoming 1500 new and returning students to the fall semester, to celebrating a great football victory during Homecoming festivities, to renewing acquaintances on a fun-filled Family Day, to watching the happy throngs at the annual Folklife Festival, and reveling in the crisp weather and the crimson, gold and rust shades of autumn, fall just might be our most spectacular season. Read more

We Make the Call. You Make the Difference!
In the coming weeks, Ferrum College student callers will be reaching out to alumni, parents and friends on behalf of the Ferrum Fund
students
Ask your student-caller about the exciting projects on campus, the new buildings and your particular major or favorite professor. Every gift to this annual effort really does make a difference to maintain and enhance the quality educational environment of which we are so proud.
Welcome

centenial bannerWe hope you'll enjoy this issue of the e-newsletter, packed with pictures and news of the latest campus happenings. You'll get a first glimpse of our upcoming Centennial preparations when you see the new banners in the Franklin Hall atrium. The banners celebrate our United Methodist heritage, the generosity of our alumni and friends, academics, student activities, athletics, culture and arts, and sustainability. In the months ahead the entire campus will burst into "celebration" mode in anticipation of the anniversary of our first 100 years in 2013-2014!

Whether you're here in person for any or all of this semester's events, or experiencing them through the pages of the newsletter, we want you to know that you are a treasured member of the Ferrum family. We are tremendously grateful for all that you do for Ferrum and thank you on behalf of the entire campus community.

Sincerely,

Jennifer L. Braaten
