After School Program a Success
The YWCA After School program just completed its first semester of operation at the beginning of June, and staff members are already busy working on new programming ideas for the fall.
The After School Program is just one of several youth development initiatives made possible by a $600,000 grant awarded to YWCA Green Bay - De Pere by the U. S. Justice Department. This first semester 28 children, primarily from Howe School, were enrolled in the program on scholarships, which allowed them to participate free of charge. Read more. |
