Computerworld turned to faculty member Aram Sinnreich for an expert's view on Apple's deals with top music labels.  

He said, "The labels need a genuine celestial jukebox..."
 

The Star Ledger ran a  feature May 15 about Bobby Brownlie, a JMS student graduating that day after a pro baseball career. An All-American at Rutgers, he was drafted by the 

Chicago Cubs

in 2002.

Honors Day 2011   SC&I faculty and students presented awards to their colleagues for outstanding achieve-ments in many aspects of their work

at the May 6 event. A highlight was the doctoral students' Special Appreciation Award to Prof. Scott for serving as program director. (read more)

 

DaraPhD student wins top RU award  The power of media

messages, particularly visual images, to define female beauty is the topic Dara Persis Murray intends to explore in her dissertation. She's also developing a new course on the subject this summer, thanks to funding from a top RU award she's won.  (read more)
