It helps answer questions such as, "How do I write lyrics?" or "I have parts, but how do I turn them into a song?" This class will give a framework for converting your creative ideas into a workable form for you or anyone else you'd like to share them with. The class culminates in a live performance at a local music venue. Business of Rock December 4-18 How do you get gigs or book a tour? What are effective ways to get your music "out there"? How do you find a booking agent, manager, or publicist, and how do you make sure you're getting a good deal from those people? What should you know about copyright and royalties? These are all questions that every serious musician asks, and this class covers them all. This is all the stuff you NEED to know whether you're looking to tour the country or just play locally once in a while. Each class will have a guest speaker. Group Classes 1st or 2nd Wednesdays - FREE! Interested in starting a new instrument? Group classes cover everything you'd want to know to get started.
