 RECAP Student Jam and Rock Workshop Showcase |
 Last weekend we had another successful Student Jam and Rock Workshop Showcase at the High Noon Saloon.
About 40 Madison Music Foundry students performed on 10 songs that they worked on in their lessons. In addition to rock classics such as Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hotel California by the Eagles, this jam included funk tune Chameleon by Herbie Hancock and jazz standard Autumn Leaves by Johnny Mercer.
 We had a record eight bands play for the Rock Workshop Showcase. This was the first session we opened up for adults (six youth bands and two adult), and it was hard to tell who was having the most fun! Congrats to all the bands for playing a great show!
