Are you ready for flu season?
The flu is a potentially contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It is said to be a mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death.
The elderly, the very young, and people with certain conditions, are especially at high risk for serious flu complications.

Warner Family Practice welcomes Janet Pragit, D.O.
Dr. Pragit earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from University of California - San Diego in 1995. She recieved her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Western University in California in 2002. Dr. Pragit completed her residency training at Midwestern University in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulation in 2005. Prior to joining our practice, she practiced at Ahwatukee Family Medical Center. She has a special interest in: Women's Health, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement, and Osteopathic Manipulation.
In her spare time, Dr. Pragit enjoys hiking, yoga, salsa dancing and spending time with her cat, Chester. |

Approximately 12 million Americans suffer from food allergies.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 3 million children under the age of 18 were reported to have a food or digestive allergy. These children are two to four times more likely to have other related health problems such as asthma and respiratory infections.
