February was a LOVELY month at MB!  We finally had school in full weeks! Ms. Ilene headed our Teddy Bear Picnic on Valentine's Day. The children had a blast doing fun games, activities and eating a yummy special snack. Thanks Ms. Ilene!

Ms Kristi conducted a Valentine's raffle with our afterschool children and they also had an awesome yummy snack.  They even had a special Valentine's punch to drink.

Ms. Denise spent every Thursday afternoon in February dedicated to bullying prevention. The children did fun activities and role playing.

Our Kindergartners worked on math and shapes in February and enjoyed all of our Valentine's and President's Day crafts.

What's up for March?

SPRING?......we certainly hope so!

• Our Kindergarten children will be focusing on muscle words: recognizing and writing them.
• We hope to do a March madness basketball tournament with Pat; the planning is in the works!
• Our room will EXPLODE in spring crafts!! Bugs and butterflies and lions and lambs!!
• A St.Patrick's Day party is planned for the 17^th. We will be going on a gold coin hunt and doing special crafts.

We are PRAYING for the snow to melt and STAY AWAY so we can go OUTSIDE!

TLC's Fall Registration begins on March 1st. Only current TLC families will receive the registration materials on this date and will be given priority through March 11th. Registration packets will be at your home centers with your child/children's name on it.

On March 14th, registration will be open to the public. Please be aware of this date and return your registration as soon as possible.

Parents who do not regularly pick up their child from their center, please check your child's backpack for this information. If you do not receive your registration packet by March 7th, please contact your center's Site Director or call the TLC Office at (203) 452-9626.

If you need TLC for the 2011-2012 school year, do not miss this priority registration period.

Camp TLC 2011

Registration is underway for our TLC Summer Camp! Registration packets are available at all centers, the TLC office and on our website. We have lots of fun things planned for this summer. Slots fill up quickly, so don't miss out on having your child join us this summer! More detailed Camp information is available on our website. Questions? Call the TLC Office at (203) 452-9626.

April Recess

April Recess is currently the 18th - 21st*. TLC will offer 5 Sign-Up Days. Be on the look out for a sign-up email for April Recess on March 21st. Registration will end on Friday, April 1st at 6 PM.

*In the event that there are additional snow days, April Recess dates are subject to change. 

 April 4th Sign-Up Day

Monday, April 4th (Teachers' Work Day) is a sign-up day at TLC. Online registration will be available from 7 AM on March 4th until 6 PM March   18th. The sign-up email will be sent out on March 4th. Please contact the office if you do not receive it by March 5th and one will be emailed to you. 

Sign-Up Process

Please remember that the only way to register your child for a sign-up day is online. Special emails are sent out prior to all sign-up days that contain a link to the online registration. Emails or phone calls to the staff, office or the webmaster are not acceptable methods for sign-up. Please visit our site for more information.
