Greetings!
There is a lot of excitement and activity in our centers as the children prepare to celebrate various holidays, some well known and others quite obscure.
TLC's office is also busy as we enter into registration season. There are important registration reminders in this month's E-News so please review this information and take note of the deadlines. Be sure your family is all set with TLC Summer Camp 2011 and Fall 2011-2012 by registering early.
This year we received many responses to our Parent Surveys. Thank you to all the families that completed the survey. Your comments and input are truly welcomed and helpful as we continue to provide quality childcare for Trumbull's working parents.
If you have any questions please call us at 203-452-9626 or email TLC at |

The month of February has been a very exciting one for the children. They had plenty of fun creating Valentine's decorations for the Valentine's Day party, decorating cup cakes and watching a Movie!
Our themes for March will consist of Mardi Gras, "Make someone smile today" and Women's History Month. For the Mardi Gras theme, they will be decorating a mask which is a great way of celebrating Mardi Grass the right way! They will also be making cards and flower baskets to help bring a smile to the ones we love the most. The will use construction and tissue paper and glue with different designs.
For Women's History Month the children will list qualities that they believe helped famous women succeed in history. They will also be thinking about the ways in which the women they know (like their mothers) strive to improve their daily lives. Once that task is complete they will make a poster for Women's History Month that will be hung up in the hallway for all to see. Please let them know what you think of their posters.
During the week, the staff and the children like to expand their cooking skills by baking a variety of delicious homemade goods! For the ones who are more active, they like to go to the gym and play soccer, kickball and basketball. The students' favorite activity of all is to play team board games like 'Monopoly', 'Life' and especially 'Catch Phrase'! On Friday, the children like to enjoy their end of the week of school by playing Wii Games.
We want to thank all the parents who remembered to tell our staff when their child would be absent from TLC.
