UBC Dentistry Community Access Fund
The new Community Access Fund at UBC Dentistry will provide comprehensive dental treatment to patients who cannot afford to pay for it. Qualifying patients will be able to receive the comprehensive treatment they need at no charge, while students will have the educational advantage of being able to follow-through on the full treatment plan they have identified for these patients. The 2011-12 CE Season continues this Monday, November 7 with Guest Speaker, Dr. John F. Weston and his presentation "Clinical Innovation & Technology: for Ultimate Esthetics & Conservative Smile Design." If you haven't already done so, we hope you plan to register for our second lecture of the season taking place at the Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside Hotel.
Monday's session will be followed by refreshments and a Special Presentation by Nicola Wealth Management: "Building Wealth Requires More than Just Investing." Pre-registration is necessary to join Murray Neilson and Mark Therriault for this complimentary session. The Paul Rondeau Memorial Lecture
The Memorial Lecture and bestowing of a Humanitarian Award is held every two years to commemorate the life and contributions of Dr. Paul Rondeau, whose accidental death occurred during his term as President of VDDS.
