Life Long Learning Classes for Adults

Greetings!

The inaugural session of the Library's new program -
"Enriching Life and Increasing Knowledge" 
is October 6th.

All sessions are held from 10 am to noon .

Sessions are free and are for all adults at home during the day.

Pre-registration is required as class sizes are limited.

Introduction to Adobe PhotoShop elements
Thursday October 6

Karen Halverson, who has been photographing landscapes for more than twenty years will teaching.

  •  Class is for those with little or no experience but who are interested in learning to manipulate and enhance their own photographs.  
  • 3 computers are available.  Otherwise, please bring a laptop that has PhotoShop Elements already loaded and a digital photo to work on.
So, You Think You Can't Draw
 Friday October 21
  • For non-artists wanting to learn.  
  • Relaxed introductory session to the drawing and sketching process.

Session taught by Cynthia Gray, artist and certified Art teacher.

    

Intermediate PhotoShop Element
 Thursday November 3
  • For people with basic working knowledge of Photoshop Elements who want to do more advanced editing.

Writing a Memoir
 Friday November 18
  • For people who want to share a part of their life experience on paper..
  • No previous writing experience required.  

Session taught by Marion Roach Smith, writer.
