Bryce Waldrop,
Preservation Architect
and resident of North Chatham,
gave a slide presentation .  Jointly  sponsored by the No. Chatham Historical Society and the Library, he discussed the
history of architecture in this area from 1600 to 1861.
Bryce kindly left us a booklet summarizing his talk.  Come, take a look.

The Library is developing a LOCAL HISTORY section.  We are eagerly looking for books on this topic.  Does anyone have a copy of Kinderhook Lake that they could donate to this collection?

HAPPY SPRING to all !  Thank-you to Lorayne for bringing sunshine into our library with her lovely flowers.  Thanks also to Lisa and Chad for adjusting the sights on our basketball hoop.
      This month the
MID-HUDSON LIBRARY SYSTEM, to which we belong, asks that we inform our patrons of the Practice Tests  available on our website:  northchathamlibrary.org.
Among the practice tests available, are the AP, SAT and college preparation tests. You can also find civil service and other career readiness tests including:  nursing, teaching, postal, police officer and firefighter.  The site can also help you with Resume building and Career Research.  Try it and tell us what you think.
In the next few weeks, the Summer program schedule will be set.  If you do not receive a brochure in the mail, please give us a call, or stop by the library and pick one up.
