What's New at
Poet's Seat Health Care Center

Happy Mothers Day to all. We hope that everyone has a nice time celebrating their moms this weekend.

Our staff had a wonderful time supporting and sponsoring the Walk for Meals on Wheels this past weekend. Many of our residents relied or will rely on this program run by Franklin County Home Care Corporation, so we well know how important it is to house-bound seniors. We send warm thanks for everyone that supported our Walking Team!

Last month, Poet's Seat residents enjoyed knocking down some pins at the French King Bowling Center. That's an outing we'll be sure to do again soon.

Also in the spirit of fun, the Activities staff threw the Annual Spring Carnival for residents and their families. A good time was had by all, even those who good-naturedly suffered a cream pie in the face. Face-painting, balloon animals, a raffle, basketball and treats like cotton candy and popcorn were also part of the fun.

Greenfield Mayor Bill Martin joined us in the Carnival fun and helped resident Alice Howard celebrate her 104th birthday!
