What's New at
Poet's Seat Health Care Center
We hope that everybody is enjoying Spring. The weather is glorious, isn't it? Our first annual Decorate-a-Pancake-with-the-Bunny Community Breakfast on March 20 went wonderfully! The residents loved having their families as well as folks from the community visit their Poet's Seat home to celebrate Easter. It was an exciting morning filled with happy children, their grownups, AND scrumptious pancakes.
Here's what's happening...

April 21, 2010Volunteer Appreciation Reception, 1 p.m.We have many daily and weekly resident activities. Some of our most looked-forward-to ones would not be possible without our wonderful Poet's
Seat volunteers! As a big thank you, we are throwing a Volunteer

celebrate our volunteers with us. We have many outstanding helpers
and we are grateful for every single one of them.
May 1, 2010Walk for Meals on WheelsPlease consider supporting Meal on Wheels by making a contribution to the Poet's Seat Team at the Walk for Meals on Wheels. The Walk is taking place at the Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls. We have a number of employees who would love to help the cause. A little help from our friends would go a long way. If you'd like to sponsor our team for any amount (
ALLmoney goes to Meals on Wheels),

Meals on Wheels provides 150,000 nutritious noontime meals a year to physically-challenged Franklin County elders in their homes! Drivers also provide a visual check to assure elders are safe so that
caregivers have peace of mind. Help support
Franklin County Home Care Corporation's (FCHCC)important program by supporting our team or getting your own walking team together! Thanks so much.
Good Wishes,
